240th Anniversary of the Battle of Camden – Weekend Getaway

All-inclusive couples package includes 2-night accommodations at the Bloomsburg Inn, private guided historical tours, dining, and Battle of Camden commemoration activities. Accommodations include a king or queen bed chamber, 3-course hot breakfast each morning and social hour with wine and appetizers each evening at 5:30 p.m. Additional nights may be added by contacting the accommodations directly. Honor and remember those who served in the August 16, 1780 Battle of Camden by joining Historic Camden and community partners at the commemoration of the battle's 239th anniversary. There will be a FREE tour at 8am (before it gets too hot!) at the Battlefield discussing the history of the battle, followed by a brief FREE program at 9am. Historic Camden’s Colonial Brickyard & Pottworks: 18th Century Bottle Kiln

  On Saturday October 24, at Historic Camden’s Colonial Brickyard & Pottworks we will be building by hand a brick kiln known as a clamp.  We will also be unveiling and preparing our working bottle kiln for making 18th century pottery and bone china.  Both the brick clamp and bottle kiln will be wood-fired over the weekend of November 7th   *normal site admission applies
