    WHAT'S HAPPENING

    JOLLIFICATION

One Saturday evening of every month we jollify at McCaa’s Tavern from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm with live music, food, drink and colonial tavern games like Shut the Box and Nine Men’s Morris. Stop by and enjoy a glass of shrub, a popular drink in colonial America.

    JOLLIFICATIONS at the TAVERN

    Saturday April 8th

TIME: 6pm to 10pm LOCATION: 222 Broad Street, Camden, SC

    COST: Free

    OUR MUSICAL GUEST:

    PJ Brunson

Lugoff native and acoustic variety folk singer PJ Brunson will be playing some great tunes. PJ was awarded a Top 10 Indie Song in 2014 and has opened for Lyle Lovett!

    McCaa’s Tavern

The Tavern, circa 1800, is a transitional design between Georgian and Federal styles, uncommon for the area. The building is currently interpreted as a late 18th century tavern.

Food, Beer & Wine (For Purchase)

Food, Beer and Wine are available for purchase while you Jollify. Water and Soda are available for free throughout the evening during each Jollification.

    18th Century Tavern Games (Free)

We have a variety of tavern games to play and members of our interruptive staff are available to teach you. Games like Nine Men’s Morris, Shut the Box and Brother John are just a few favorites.

    Shrub (Available for Purchase)

It’s not a bushy plant that adorn landscapes, it’s an 18th century beverage! It is typically derived from fruit and consisting of sugar, vinegar and alcohol. Depending on the season we have apple, pineapple, pear, pumpkin, and strawberry shrub for you to try.
