MAKING BRAIDED RUGS I

During the colonial period, people were incredibly thrifty, finding ways to use and reuse everyday household items in as many ways as possible. Learn how to get started creating your very own braided, or rag, rug which you can finish on your own at home! Join us in the Tavern. Twelve and up please.

HANDS-ON LEARNING

Our Make & Take workshops are a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in learning about 18th and 19th century skills and crafts. Making shrub, windchimes, and block printing are just a few of the themes you can discover.
